The Yankees are slumping and Boston is surging, and suddenly it looks as if we might have a September in the AL East, after all. In fact, Page 2 recently had one of those psychic visions -- we're fine now; just a little sore around the temples, thanks for askin' -- and can state with confidence that the Sox will catch the Yanks at the end of the season and the teams will be forced to meet in a one-game playoff to determine the division champion.

Pretty exciting, huh?

You don't know the half of it. We've seen it all. The game started harmlessly enough, but . . . Oh! The conclusion!

Here, using our fabulous LegoVision technology, we'll show you exactly what will happen. It's our exclusive Division Playoff Pre-enactment, Part One. Tune in tomorrow for the dramatic denouement.

My favorite part:

QUOTE
Having had enough, Esteban Loaiza gets up and aims at the Boston dugout.

"How'd you like a taste of your own medicine, Pedro?"

"Bring it, Bee-atch."

Loaiza's pitch heads towards Martinez . . .

. . . and misses.

Loaiza is undeterred. He picks up another ball and aims.

"Okay, well, how about these apples?"

The ball heads toward Martinez . . .

. . . and misses.

"I suck," Loaiza says.

I loved the Kill Bill, Pt. 2 storyline on Zimmer!

The writer put up part 2 today. Part Two I thought the first part was much better, but the second part was ok i guess.

I remember when Page 2 was an essential part of my workday; three solid, humorous articles about sports that could take up half an hour of my workday. Now it's all about clothes and music and psuedo-advice from Andy Roddick. I still love BSG, and am excited that he has more free reign at ESPN, but am still disappointed with P2 lately.

I suppose I should actually do work though.

I much preferred the first one, the second was pushing it...

Other than the Loaiza part the other good part was with the Camping trip that 'Tek and A-Rod went on.

Other than that this story sucked. If it were me, I wouldn't have ended it that way. I wouldn't have ended it with the Sox winning either. I would have just ended it before then. Why do you we need another piece of anything rammed down our throat about how the Yankees are always going to win.

Screw Tradition, Screw the Curse, Screw History, and Screw Legos! This is 2004. It's now time to create a new History!

This should go in what annoys me, but...

Does it bother anyone else that someone got paid to play with Legos, take those pictures, and put together that little story? Ugh...

I don't know what people are bitching about, this is some funny stuff.

The previous statement was made before reading Part 2. I'd like to retract my praise.
