This is the same guy who had the artice talking about how George and Brian should make up some inconceivable deal and land AROD to keep him from getting to the Red Sox before last February. Yeah, let's listen to Mike Lupica.

Despite my longing to beat the crap out of Lupica, his columns are well-written and always on the mark. Now, if I could just forget I ever saw him on The Sports Reporters.

I must admit that I actually do enjoy Lupica's columns and guest spots on the occaisional sports show. His bits with Bob Ryan before the ALCS games were the clincher, he was excited about the matchup and how great a series it was going to be. Never have I heard/read anything from him that contains any sort of venom towards the Sox. In fact, he seems to be a baseball fan that happens to write for the Yankees. Smart guy, well versed... and even more enjoyable to read when it's his team he's talking about rebuilding
