So who are we gonna resign Cambridge? I see some names, like Kester, that I would definitely want back. And I see some, like Reynaldo Garcia, that I say good ridance to. Who will be back? I know little about how this works in the minors. Is there a lot of movement, or do most people come back?

Darn good question. I'm guessing a majority will be replaced, but some will certainly return.
I'd say we'd want to keep Jamie Brown, Jerome Gamble, Brandon Puffer and Josh Stevens. Jason Shiell, if he's healthy, might be a good one to retain. Perhaps Brad Thomas because he's lefty. Notably, these are all pitchers.
Carlos Febles has MLB experience and we may keep him for insurance -- if he wants to stay.
Colin Young and Ryan Cameron grew up rooting for the Sox, so I think they'd like to come back.
John Nathans may end up coaching somewhere next year, perhaps in our system?
Andy Dominique? My guess is that he signs elsewhere. Jeremy Owens might make a good fifth OF for a smaller-market MLB club, but probably not here in Boston. Jeff Bailey had a solid year and will be attractive for some teams. Scott Cassidy will draw some interest.
You can mark these down as semi-educated guesses.

Our friends at SoxProspects.com have a good rundown on the FAs on their minor league roster list.

Interesting. According to RedSox.com, they are. As is Thomas. To my understanding, that would mean they shouldn't be on the list. I'll see if I can find the time to dig up an answer.

I doubt you see many back, as the FAs must realize a large market like Boston will give them very little opportunity to prove themselves at the ML level.
Tony Schrager (LA) and Frank Castillo (FLA) have already been signed, although I'm sure we've lost others as well

thank the Lord Frank Castillo is gone---easily the most boring pitcher to watch in recent Sox history..
takes forever between pitches, 2-0/3-1 on every batter, constantly stepping off/throwing to first/staring in for the sign..... absolutely brutal.

if you think he will make a good fith OF for a small market club would it be posable that the club looks at him to take that spot if Kapler doesn't resign and we trade Roberts? couldn't hurt to try it out in spring training. my gues is he would make the league minnamum and save us some money to sign one of our free agents. just an idea.

I remember Gammons saying something before to the extent of "some club is going to get lucky in trading for Brad Thomas" before they actually did trade him to us. IIRC, they were facing the fact that they needed the room on the 40 man and couldn't risk sending him through waivers and losing him for nothing.
Has anyone seen him pitch or know of any in depth scouting reports on him? As little as I know about him (lefty, australian?, hurt for the year) I've been intrigued since I heard we landed him. So, what's the scoop, is a potential diamond in the rough?

Right now, it looks as if Adam Hyzdu is slotted into the 5th OF slot for the Sox ; I'm sure the Sox will bring in someone to compete with him for the Trot Nixon platoon partner job. Hyzdu has nice numbers vs. lefties, albeit in a very SSS at the ML level.
However, Hyzdu or player X making the 25-man is not a given at this point, as we have to have spots for Mirabelli, Roberts, and (Backup IF). Then, as of right now, Minky and Youkilis occupy the last two bench spots. So until (hopefully) the Sox deal Minky, they can really only afford to carry 4 OF. It would help if the backup IF could spot the OF once in a while a la Crespo...except less crappy.
