hey, i was thinking of downloading the MLB entire games against the MFY......i was wondering if anyone has seen the quality? is the video good? is the audio clear? i don't want to waste timeand money if they're garbage.
The full game feeds that you would be downloading from MLB are the same quality and size as the highlights and condensed games that have been going around the forum. Personally I don't think they are that great a quality but as they are all we've got until someone comes up with some DVDs of the actual broadcast they're not bad.
If you download the games from MLB.com they will come with Digital Rights Management from MLB.com which requires you to have a license to play the file (usually just requiring your email address and password you provided when you purchased the download).

Does this board want to encourage the dissemination of copyrighted material in clear contravention of the law?
As macd23 was talking about downloading the games from MLB.com (where downloads are available for purchase) I don't see how that violates any law.
I guess you'd also be against anyone purchasing a DVD burned from the original broadcast even though there is no place from which a "legitimate" broadcast quality copy of those broadcasts can be purchased? But yet if we had all set up VCRs to tape all the games (just about impossible for the 4+ hour games) then its all okay if we all have a copy?
Technically the
sox highlight music video that is available through BitTorrent download is also copyrighted content.
