Game time: 1:05 pm. The game will be on NESN, mlb.tv, WEEI, and mlb gameday audio.
Projected starters: Bronson Arroyo v. Jorge Sosa.
Expect to see Blaine Neal pitch in this game.
St. Petersburg weather at 11 am: 2,100 broken, visibility 9 statute miles, temperature 83F, DP 71F, wind out of the south at 16 knots.
There was an overcast at 2,000 feet earlier, so there's been some improvement since early morning. The DP is over 70F, so the muggies have come to Florida.
Forecast: Showers and thundershowers likely before 4 pm. Winds out of the southwest at 10-16 knots, temperatures in the low to mid-80's.

Does EEI black out the games on their web stream?
Either that or the link is messed up because I'm getting AAF.

Stations cannot stream games because of the arrangement with mlb. You can get the game through gameday audio.

Two hits and four baserunners in seven innings against Tampa Bay... Three weeks ago, I would have said "It's spring training...." But we're one week away from "playing for real". The offense has been poor and the defense lacking in the last week or so. Am I the only one who thinks it's time for the team to crank it up a notch?

Trot might not be in midseason form just yet, but his cap sure is.

If you want, you can use a proxy which makes your ip address undetectable and that will prevent the blackout.

What a crappy game. They are 1 week away and they just aren't impressing me. Of course it is spring training so maybe they just don't care and want the games to begin? Tough day for Trot today, but I laughed that he left the game by opening up the door in right field.

Two mental errors by Trot today cost them two runs. They didn't play with a full squad again today. It's only my opinion but this is one team that needs all of their starters playing in order to win ballgames. The offense isn't the same without Damon leading off, Ramirez batting third. No Renteria or Millar today either. Thank god it's only spring training cause they wouldn't win one game with Bellhorn batting leadoff.

The box score is posted above!
He pitched one inning, and gave up no hits or runs. He gave up one BB, and didn't strike anyone out.

I can read a box score...LOL
I figured one of you guys watched the game and would be able to tell me how his fastball, curve, etc. was working and if you guys think he could do well for us this year...

Looking at the box score, we appear to have pinch-hit Scott Cassidy, a pitcher, for David Ortiz? Anyone know if that's accurate, and why it might have been?
