I realize that it's only Spring Training, but Clement is trying to get guys out in the 1st inning. And he sucks. Same as last year. You never see him hitting the catcher's glove. The ball is flying all over the place.
vicocala
yeah, his shoulder is flying open creating some irratic pitches . It would be nice to see the team jump out to a nice start. We have the worst spring training record in the American League and only the Gnats are worse.

No thats not whats ridiculous. Whats crazy is he CAN hit the catchers mit about 10 times in a row and be in a perfect groove then out of NO WHERE he loses it. He just loses it for no apparent reason. Thats whats so damn frustrating.
vicocala
It is nice to see the Sox players working the count.

Clement looked much better in the 2nd than in the 1st...1,2,3 with two Ks, both swinging.

Poor A-Gon, he just got robbed by Utley, that was a ridiculous play. Guy can't buy a hit.
gerky
Van Buren looked damn good in his outing.

Will we have the youngest bullpen in baseball in 2007 with Delcarmen, Dinardo, Hansen and Van Buren or what? Possibly Edgar Martinez?

This is a very exciting time.

We won't have that many openings. Timlin is a FA, Riske a FA, and possible Papelbon to the rotation. But yea we are LOADED with relief prospects, which is why I'm not as worried about possible injuries.

Seanez is a FA, Foulke has an option for 2007. Tavarez could easily be traded.

Seanez and Foulke both have vesting options. And unless you want to take close to nothing in return I don't think Tavarez would be that east yo trade. A) Because his contract is pretty hefty and B) Because he is a raging lunatic.
