What the hell is up with Sox pitchers and giving up home runs this year? Beckett's fastball is a meatball if he doesn't locate it and Schilling continues to give up bombs. If they could just control their HR rate they'd be giving up 1 run an outing. Jesus.

It's amazing how Kapler always seems to get off to a hot start when he re-joins the Sox in the middle of the season.

Is it me or has this ump completely missed some pitches right down the middle?

Freaking Rodrigo Lopez gave up 9 runs to the White Sox in 2+ innings. Why the hell doesn't he do that more often against us? Drive me nuts.

I totally do not understand why Huff is their cleanup hitter. It's obvious that Gomes should be batting 4th instead of 6th.

The camera angle at Tropicana Field is one of the worst in the league, making it very hard to judge the strike zone from TV. So...it's hard to say.

That said, it seems as if the zone is widening with 3 balls...which helps Fossum, but doesn't help Schilling.
