Not sure where this goes forum wise...

Does anyone know where I can get a high-quality version of the 2003 ALCS Game 7 either on the computer or on DVD?

If anyone can make a DVD copy, that'd be great.

PM me!

Thinking of putting together a "get well" video montage for Tim Wakefield?

Have you tried bittorent for an unauthorized copy? If you are looking to go legit, Red Sox vs. Yankees: The Ultimate Rivalry, might be the place to start.

I'm sure you can download this from MLB.com. It will probably cost 3 or 4 bucks. It won't be top-notch quality, and I don't think you can actually watch this on your DVD player hooked up to a TV.

Or just turn on the YES Network during the off-season. They play this pretty regularly. Alas, they have yet to broadcast Game 7 from 2004.

I bought the World Series games (1-4) on the MLB Digital Download service...absolutely terrible quality of video and sound, not worth it at all.

A DVD would be alright...but whats this "bittorent" deal?

Someone hook me up with some information??

And if you want to know why I want it...a good friend of mine and me were talking yesterday about the NESN "What if..." and we were both very entertained by it. The 2003 RedSox were my favorite team by far of recent years (Mueller batting title, Nomar, Todd Walker, Damon without the hair, ect.) and we both decided that we should sit down and watch that Game 7 start to finish sometime...we just need a copy.

Grady was right in leaving Pedro in, by the way.

Bittorrent wiki with links on the bottom. It's a p2p sharing protocol. I use a Mac for this, so my experience on the various clients will probably not help you.

Chapino,
There is some discussion of this going on in the "1986 alternative ending" thread as well. I agree with you on Pedro, at least through Matsui, and the percentages don't make a strong argument against this strategy.

I am going to take the liberty of starting a "what if" thread to combine things; I'm sure the Mods will streamline things further.
