He's only human, and maybe he blows his cool just once a year. Hershiser said it best, that you have to believe the reaction of the player sometimes. Lowell isn't a known hot dog by any stretch. Just the opposite.

Ok, memo to Terry:
THIS GAME IS NO LONGER GARBAGE TIME.
It is a WINNABLE game.
Therefore, a GARBAGE PITCHER should not be in it. 3 innings ago when it was 6-1, fine.
NOW....NO..
Find somebody who can pitch and bring them in. Now look.

Curt was at 89 pitches??????
In a game like this he couldn't give us another inning?????
Jesus F****ing Christ. What the F*** is wrong with this team's management?????
You don't feel urgency to win here or what???? We have to win this game, you battle way back, and now you bring in one of life's true losers and he predicatably gives it right back up, and you have an ace who was finally settling down that had an inning left in him????
What the F***?
Tavarez would have been a better option from teh beginning, by the way. I'll stand by that even if he screws it up worse, now he's got a dirty inning anyway and these aren't his runs.

Dude, 6 earned on 10 hits, 6 or 7 for extra bases, call it a night..
13 Freakin pitchers on the 25 man roster has me shakin my head. Giving Terry to many options with a few relievers who should not be up ie VBuren

I GUARANTEE you this guy would have been a better option:
David Riske (8 Bos) 17 0 0 1 0 0 2 15.1 12 6 6 1 9 10 5.87 0.0 1.37 3.52
I'm so glad, Theo, that he was "redundant." And so now when we rally to come back in an important game, we get to go with Van Buren and Tavarez.
Newsflash Theo---not all right handed relievers are created equal. Just because you have a bunch doesn't mean you should trade one of your better ones.
We will not make the playoffs with this bullpen. It just isn't going to happen. And this game is a neon light flashing to the rest of the league that we are desperate for pitching help. We might as well wear a sign that signs "I need pitching, rape me"

Great pickup that Coco Crisp was. Can't hit, refuses to take a walk, and has no arm. Really worth trading Marte for.
