I'll reserve judgement until we see if he's going to have to play center every day. I think that will ultimately be a problem for him, especially with Crosby not on the MFY roster anymore....

Crosby is back in AAA, so they could easily call him back up if Damon has to go on the DL

Crosby's in AAA? I live in Toledo and they're playing the Clippers, I haven't seen Crosby's name anywhere in 3 games, Guiel was sent down...dunno about Crosby though.

Funny you mentioned that. I was thinking along the same lines....but could it be that Wallace is having an effect already? Earlier in the season he'd just throw harder when he struggled, now he's going to his off-speed and breaking stuff instead.
Javy is still doing a crap job of catching them, but the change in his approach is encouraging.

I agree, I hope Josh realizes that he needs to mix up his stuff like tonight to be effective. I think he has actually pitched very well tonight, despite the crappy fourth (some of which was Javy's fault).

I've gotta say, the MFY's rule about facial hair/short haircuts is really antiquated. Craig Wilson had personality before, now he looks like any Biff selling insurance in suburban America. Besides the obvious reasons, I think I'd have NY on my no-trade list if I were in the majors just for the fact that I hate shaving.....
