Anyone watching? How did Hansen look? I'm guessing the run he yielded was unearned, since there was an error involved to keep the inning alive. He'd pitched 3 scoreless frames since his recall and I'm hoping he can finish this season on a high note.

Tavarez is our stopper in the rotation. Javy (I don't wear shinguards) Lopez is our closer. It's bizarro world Red Sox.

You know what they say about top closers coming into non-save situations...they just don't bear down and quite often almost blow it. I've seen it happen to Wagner, Street, Nathan, and who else this year? That was tongue in cheek. Too bad, looks like Timlin is either hurt or finished. I changed my mind about Timlin (as if you were all hanging, waiting for this)...I think he'll hang it up, making the Red Sox his last team.

After Timlin walked off the mound and it was just Tek and Tito, I thought I saw Tito say, "He's done." I don't read lips, but it certainly did look like that was what he said. If he did, I happen to agree with him. I was hoping JVB's avatar saying Timlin was cooked was wrong, but now, not so much.
