Game time: 7:05 pm

Scheduled starters: Tim Wakefield (7-8, 4.14) v. Erik Bedard (13-9, 3.91)

Baltimore weather: 3 pm observation at BWI: Wind out of the southwest at 6 mph, visibility 10 miles, scattered clouds at 2,600 feet, broken layer at 6,000 feet, overcast layer at 12,000 feet, temperature 67F, DP 57F.

Forecast: A low to the northwest and a cold front west of the mid-Atlantic states are likely to bring rain to the Baltimore area this evening. It will be in the mid-60's, with the wind becoming south, and then southeast. The rain could be intermittent early in the evening, but is likely to be steady later on. There's a good chance of getting the game in before the rain becomes steady.

Nice recovery by Wake now.
Cambridge
Tough-luck game for Dustin Pedroia so far. Pedro is 0-for-2, with both being line-outs.
Janeyjane17
Nice range at 2nd though. He's had some tough luck thus far, but he's taken time to adjust at pretty much each other level, so I'm not too worried. The time he gets now saves us a slump at the beginning of next year (hopefully!).
