RedSoxAnni
Game time: 1 pm

Scheduled starters: Kyle Snyder (4-4, 6.28) v. Gustavo Chacin (8-3, 4.87)

Toronto weather: 11 am observation at CYYZ: Wind out of the west southwest at 26 mph, gusting to 32 mph, visibility 15 miles, few clouds at 2,500 feet, scattered clouds at 12,000 feet, temperature 65F, DP 56F

Forecast: Warm and mostly sunny, with a chance of showers and thundershowers later in the afternoon. The major weather factor today will be the wind, which will blow out of the southwest at 20-25 mph, with gusts to over 35 mph. That's blowing out toward right. The gusty winds are likely to cause a lot of turbulence in the Rogers Centre if the roof is open.

Roof forecast: They may decide to close it because of the winds...

60 doesn't have much meaning. 62 sure would be nice, though...
beatlesfab4fan
60 would put him in sole possession of first place all time in the AL for homers in a season.

Something I'm missing here. The Yankees aren't in the AL? That would be nice for a change.

Maris hit 61 in 1961.

Ruth says 'what am I, chopped liver'?, like in the commercial.

Ruth hit 60 in 1927.

Wily Mo Pena for Gold Glove

Should we "ungrant" his inalienable right to a starting OF position next year? Looks to me like we have another DH on our hands. Good job, Theo.
