14.95 seems to be a pretty good deal for the Gameday Audio. I'm wondering how many people will drop 200$ just for the opportunity to buy monster seats.

I just bought myself a $199 X-Mass present.
I like the MLB TV as I travel a lot and can put the game on my laptop. But the Monster tickets sold me.......I took one of my kids last year and need to take one other ones this year. I'm interested in seeing how they alot the tickets to RSN members and if they stop selling the top tier membership if it gets too popular...???

It says that the two expensive packages are limited and I got myself the 14.95 again and I thin kit was the bumper sticker that sold me this time, not the fact that I get my name on a card other than drivers license.

Does anyone know if there's a catch here? Are you guaranteed a time frame of 30 seconds when you can buy monster seats which will be determined in a random e-mail that will be sent to you at 4am on New Years Day, or is it a guaranteed opp to wait in virtual waiting room hell for 8 hours just to finally get through with the surprise that your 2 tickets are to separate games against Tampa Bay and KC? Just curious of how "opportunity" is being used here.

I don't know, but guessing there will be a "window" of time, most likely a short window. Also I'm guessing we won't be able to get all games...but I hope I'm wrong.

Interesting that Monster seats are already on sale at Stubhub.com. I contacted the Sox ticket office yesterday and asked when the annual virtual waiting room-fest will be for single game tickets. I received this response:
Thank you for your email. Tickets for select 2007 April, May, and September games are now on sale. To check availability and to purchase tickets, please go online at www.redsox.com, call our touchtone ticketing at 617.482.4SOX, or speak to a live operator by calling 877.REDSOX9.
Remaining single-game tickets, including all Green Monster and Right Field Roof tickets will be available at a later date, likely in late January or early February. Please watch our website, www.redsox.com, for updates as they become available.
Boston Red Sox Ticket Services
I don't think obstructed view or general admission SRO should be construed to be "now on sale". I also find it amazing how many Sox tickets are available on sites like stubhub abd ticketliquidator.com at significant premiums (Bleacher seats for $75 each??)
It appears the Sox won't have as many single game seats available this year as they've released a large number to brokers including Monster Seats.

I bought one of the $14.95 memberships, as I use GameDay Audio a lot when I'm on the road for my job.
One thing no one has mentioned, and something I'm curious about, is the claim that Red Sox Nation members get to enter Fenway through their own special gate (I forget which it is off the top of my head). Does this actually save time?

The "Special gate" is a joke.....you don't get in any earlier and the special "gate" just becomes a regular gate once they open the doors. The gate is by the bleachers...the area near the ticket window on Lansdown street.

They have some kind of backlog but will send all code by midnight tonight. If you don't get an email- do 2 things:
1- check spam filters- it may be there
2- call them at (866) 800-1275
My email noted that if for some reason, you don't get the chance to purchase monster seats in this window- which goes from Wed- Friday- you will be contacted with a second sale date.
Which means I think that they may re-open this type of RSN membership again.

I just bought mine- about 5 minutes of VWR then 19 open windows and all of them hit by 12:15.
There were a few games notified as sold out- already-these included games in the Giants series and the Orioles (?) series in May. I did not look for any other games than the one I wanted- Friday 8/17 vs Angels. I was able to get front row tickets in Sect M3.
I did notice that although the weekday games were available- the weekend dates in that series did not have a "T" icon.

What's that really all about, is there really any difference entering gate E & flashing your RS membership card than entering from other gates around the park? Has anyone ever done this before?
Also, reagarding the $110 tier:
(Two tickets included (Outfield Grandstand) : were the 2 tickets included in that tier in 07' or did the 07' 2nd tier just include an oppertunity to buy tickets (for an additional cost)?

$250 for the chance to buy $150 tickets to very overrated seats. Sounds like a great deal!!!!!!!!
