Ok folks, I need some help. I have Directv which I got the first week of the season last year. I currently do not have the sports pak, I planned on ordering once the season started. If I get the sportspak will the spring training games be blacked out or will I get them?

It's kind of sad, really...the Red Sox are playing a more meaningful February game than the Celtics.

Here's hoping that the Sox will be playing more meaningful games in October than the Celtics, too...

I tried to get the Mets-Tigers game earlier today on my mlb.tv package but to no avail. I will sh*t a brick if I can't get this game tonight!

If the NESN website is telling the truth, this game in not in HD and that angers me greatly.

You may think so, but you'll see as we move into the regular season that you have to be well-prepared for game threads.

Study; that is my advice. Study well. You don't want to be pwned by a JHB or an "Abe/Hat" or even a "Caspir" when the season starts. Be tanned, rested, and ready.

I also had a problem. Prior to the game starting the icon to watch the game on MLB.tv was present, however once the game started there was no icon to click to start watching the game. Very frustrating...

To get to the game video you had to click on the "in progress" link, then on the "video" link above the box score. The system was not working for the first part of the game. I called MLB and got a recording that they were aware of the problem and were working on it. They had it fixed by the 6th inning, but still had no links to the game feed (other than what I described above).

Once the game starts can someone with mlb.tv check what bitrate you get for the video feed. I have the premium package but during the Mets game I only got 400. It was supposed to be 700. Or it that only once the regular season starts?
