As usual, it's (almost) all Matsuzaka all the time. I turn the game on and Don and Jerry are talking about Matsuzaka while the game is going on. Now Wake is being interviewed, and there are just as many Matsuzaka questions as knuckleball questions. Overkill in spades continues.

I have to agree. If he struggles it's going to be an A-rod scenario in Boston and if he Succeeds he's going to be talked about like the second coming of Cy Young. People need to relax and wait for him to actually pitch.

I'm not a fan of Moss' stance. WMP seemed to get a lucky hit on a late swing.

Nice hit by Lowell going down the RF line.

Pineiro needs to be getting back on the juice if he wants to play on this team.

I Just can't see Pineiro closing for the Sox this year. Maybe Donnelly or a trade.
Caspir
He looked dreadful. I know it's only Spring, but that was ugly.
SuperManny
One of the young guns is going to end up closing. Cox, Hansen, MDC, somebody out of that group I bet.
2bshorty
Why are they running a press conference while the game is going on?
Red Sox Fan2
I hate not being able to hear the questions that are being asked.
2bshorty
Papelbon's alarm clock going off in the middle was pretty funny, though.

I heard the Mariners are going to cut Felix Hernandez because he had a bad first outing on March 2nd too.

Give him some time. If he's still this bad after I get back from spring break (end of March) then I'll worry.

It wasn't so much the line, but the guy was absolutely dreadful. No location, piss por throwing. I mean, I think half this board would have taken him deep. You're right that it's early, but when you're coming off a miserable year, you need to come strong.

Tie game baby. Nice. I feel like a loser cheering this hard for the come back. I like seeing the kids play. Ellsbury is fast as hell.
gerky
Wow. The fake to third, throw to first move actually worked. Gotta love spring training.

I can't wait for him to play CF for the Sox.
