Anyone ever play Vintage Base Ball, by that I mean by 1880s rules?

I've signed up for a tournament in June-July with a bunch of guys who have also never played it before. I've been playing over-30 baseball for 7-8 years, but have no idea what to expect with this.
I just ordered a full-fingered glove and a 37-ounce bat with a mushroom handle.

It ought to be a real trip.
