Game time: 7:35 pm
Scheduled starters: Josh Beckett (9-1, 3.39) v. Tim Hudson (6-4, 3.25)
The game will be on NESN.
Atlanta weather: 2 pm observation at KATL: wind variable at 7 mph, visibility 10 miles, few clouds at 4,000 feet, scattered clouds at 6,500 feet, broken clouds at 12,000 and 25,000 feet, temperature 85F, DP 69F.
Forecast: The high that dominated the area is moving east, off the coast. Behind it, there's a low level flow of very moist air ahead of a cold front that is on the AL/GA border, moving toward the northeast. There are rainshowers and thundershowers ahead of the front, and there's a good chance that there will be some rain in the Atlanta area late this afternoon into this evening. There's a chance they could play, but this could also be a washout. There's pretty good coverage with rain, but the heaviest rain appears to be tracking south of Atlanta.
The wind will be out of the southwest, which is blowing out toward right.

Time for Good Josh to come out and play again, and I think he will. Beckett gets us back on track and sets us up to win this series tomorrow. If they're needed we have Okajima and Paps ready to finish.
As tough as Hudson is I'm glad we have a righty pitching so we can get Papi back in the lineup.

This is a good opportunity to give Lowell a night off. He's been playing hurt, with a sprained thumb.

The 6 pm observation at KATL has light rain, visibility 10 miles. As I noted earlier, the heaviest weather appears to be tracking south of Atlanta. There's a dry slot behind this patch of rain, and I think they'll play the game, although perhaps with some light rain and a possible delay.

Alright. Let's get an awesome outing form Beckett.

The rain has stopped at KATL as of 7 pm. It looks like there's about an hour window until the next patch of rain comes through, but that should be of short duration. I think this game gets played.

For those of us out of the the range of NESN, do the Braves still play their games on TBS? Everybody Loves Raymond is on right now instead of the game(Also, Not Everybody Loves Raymond, especially me).

None of the games from this series are on TBS. I think TBS expanded their coverage and aren't doing solely Braves games anymore, and not doing as many Braves games. But someone else can probably tell you more.

I don't think Manny realized that the inning was still going and then after he bounced off the wall he noticed that no one was going into the dugout.
