Full Version: Baltimore at BOSTON, Sunday, September 2, 2007
Royal Rooters > THE COOLER > ROYAL ROOTERS ARCHIVES > 2007 REGULAR SEASON GAME THREADS
RedSoxAnni
Game time: 2:05 pm EDT

Scheduled starters: Daniel Cabrera (9-13, 5.08) v. Jon Lester (2-0, 5.67)

The game will be on NESN.

Boston weather: Noon observation at KBOS: Wind out of the southeast at 8 mph, visibility 10 miles, sky clear, temperature 68F, DP 47F

Forecast: A beautiful day for baseball! It should get to the mid to upper 70s. The winds are southeast now on the coast, and variable inland. Southeast is blowing in from right. I expect the winds to come around from the south to southwest by later in the game, which is blowing across from right to left/out toward left, but the winds will be light, and likely no factor.

Bring sunscreen...

Our lineup today is quite shaky!

What's this about Ellsbury's lack of power? A double last night and a HR today. wink.gif

Man, these kids are ****ing good! The future is bright.

All these kids getting it done.

Yeah, but 2 hits allowed from Lester through 5?

Teh suck.

I'm sorry, I know it's been said a million times now, but how awesome is it to see these homegrown guys come up and get it done. It's great. Seeing how I'm in the under-20 club at RSN, it's incredibly fun to see, as I never have experienced anything like it (an they don't make me feel old).

Torre just pulled a Tito and left Pettite in with 115 pitches, then C Pena hit a three-run jack. 5-1 D Rays

If only every rendition of God Bless America was that lovely.

I'm looking at you Ronan Tynan.

We received some cryptic discussion about Gagne today. He's being rested for a couple days.

Youk suddenly reverts back to mid-August form - 4 K's in one game.

Please, Paps, close this one out.

This was one of those games where it seems like the Sox were in total control, but you look at the scoreboard and see a 1 run game.

6.0
bosockboy
Officially 6.0

Picking up a game on the Yanks with them playing TB at home is absolutely huge.
