Looks like our far flung Rooters will get the game today unless you are in Denver, Phoenix or Los Angeles.

Enough of this crap. Let's go out and win one today. C'mon Josh, time to shut them down.
Can Paps come back and close again today? If ever we needed a complete game victory, today is the day.

Hinske (oustanding numbers off Wang) in LF, Crisp back in CF. Finally back to Pedroia-Youkilis 1-2, even if its only because Ellsbury's out.

I would like to suggest respectfully that we WIN THIS GAME. I am tired of losing to the NYY. I don't care whether or not the game is important to us winning the division. I just want to WIN!!! That is all.

It would be nice if those numbers would actually translate into something outstanding this season, 0-6 against Wang this season isn't exactly impressive.
Ellsbury's wrist must still be bothering him because Crisp has had difficulty against Wang in the past

So there is really no better play by play out there than Josh Lewin? Really?
I mean, to me this is like putting a 5'1 guy in an NBA slam dunking contest. Some people just weren't given the goods by God to do certain jobs. In Lewin's case, anything involving broadcasting and public speaking should have been off limits. But nope. Not only is he a broadcaster, but Fox hilights him in their big national game of the week.
What a country. What a dumb asinine network. Maybe they figure, hey, we already have the second worst analyst out there, why not just totally crap the bed with the broadcast since Joe's busy doing football?

Well we're home anyway, having done our breakfast-Circuit City-Target-baby consignment sale rounds.
So I figure, hey--I'll give it a few innings. Pizza tonight I think, so if they're sucking and I'm getting pissed, I'll turn it off and go out and get some. If not, bring it home or eat it after. At least that's the plan. Plus there's college football on.

http://msn.foxsports.com/other/story/5619630First post....and a Rooter from the Midwest finally gets all three games of a Sox/Yanks series.
A-Rod called yesterday's debacle "Our biggest win of the year." Today is the day to stem the Stankee momentum a bit and let their dugout be the ones left wringing their hands.

I realize last night was a tough loss but some of my friends are so mad and fatalistic I don't get it. It is like you guys are 5 back. Sox are playing with the house's money. These games are far bigger to the Yanks. You always want to win but you guys have a cushion to fall back on...

I'm convinced all these reports of how banged up Damon was (is?) and how Jeter's patellar tendinitis is hampering him is just some kind of Yankee snow job designed to lull their opponents into relaxing and not keeping the pressure on.
Jeter sure didn't like a guy whose pins were hurting him when he hit that HR out to LCF.
