Game time: 8:00 pm EDT (first pitch at 8:09 pm according to ESPN)

Scheduled starters: Roger Clemens (6-6, 4.45) v. Curt Schilling (8-7, 3.93)

The game will be on ESPN.

Boston weather: 3 pm observation at KBOS: Wind out of the southeast at 10 mph, visibility 10 miles, few clouds at 4,700 feet, temperature 60F, DP 44F.

Forecast: High pressure is dominating the region, and, along with it, cool, dry, Canadian air. The winds are currently southeast, and will remain southeast to east for most of the evening, at under 8 mph. After sundown, skies will be clear, and with the light winds, we'll see radiational cooling. It will likely get into the upper 40s in Fenway Park before the game is over. And it will get into the 30s away from the city.

So, bring your jacket! It'll be good practice for October baseball!

I still want the Yanks in the playoffs so they can get swept in the 1st round. That will be funny.

Lets go Curt. He's been solid lately and nothing would be finer then beating the Yankees tonight.

I disagree, I'd be happier if they didn't make it at all.

Good to see Ellsbury in the leadoff, he deserves it after all the help he's given us lately.

GO SOX! bosox.gif

I still wish Ellsbury was in CF though.

I'm not staying up for the end of this one - I want to watch Roger get knocked out in the third, and then I can have a nice night's sleep.

Ditto. That dangerous offense isn't so dangerous when they're golfing in Arizona in October.

Does JD have second baseman envy or something? Man.
Ralpho316
Did Joe Morgan really say they gave Lowell his Gold Glove before the game?

Johnny Damon is a girl

If that isn't symbolic.... move over Johnny. There's a new future all star centerfielder in town. And without the annoying stripper whore wife.

God, I love that kid. Go Jacoby!

Why are there people who honestly think he shouldn't be resigned?

I'm going to need a new remote by the end of this night.

Ok Touchdown Tom Terrific, back down the field. Oh and c'mon Lugo.

Clemens looks like he's settled down a little.
dtkendrick
I really think Morgan tonight is worse than McCarver was last night. Man, I wish I lived near a Sox radio station.
MFLetou
Told ya Morgan was worse.
