If there's a really dirty dive bar with a notoriously filthy restroom near you, I suggest going there, sitting in the restroom for 3 hours and accepting the ridicule and anger of the barely functioning/brain dead losers who come in to relieve themselves. It's about the same as going to the Stadium. (Oh yeah, make sure it's a long and dangerous walk to your car, where you sit for another three hours waiting for traffic to disperse) Bring your IPOD and play New York, New York as you leave the restroom.

Enjoy!

Personally I was just hoping to go to the Stadium with a group of people and checking out the better parts of NY. smokin.gif

I live in NH and plan on staying a weekend. Will probably cost a boat load.

The Mets increased theirs 20%. Expect both to take another nice jump for 2009 too.

Considering it's the final season in a storied ballpark, I can't say I'm too surprised. Tickets will be at a premium as many people will want to see it once or one more time. It's been years since I went, but at least I got to enjoy the Andy Hawkins / Mike Pagliarulo / Tim Leary years...

I'd say the move is three-fold. First, taking advantage of the last year in the toilet bowl. Second, getting a head start on the price jump in the new bowl. Third, getting people used to the increase now so they don't notice/feel it as much next year.
