I couldn't agree more. I've had the misfortune of moving back to Oklahoma this past fall, but purchaces season tickets to the Oklahoma City Redhawks, the AAA affiliate of the Rangers. Last night I took my sister to her first MLB game: White Sox vs Rangers, an exhibition game. The stadium was sold out (13, 066), it was a bit on the cool side with temps between 50 and 60 degrees with game time at 7:05. There was beer and dogs of all kinds as well as pretzels and popcorn and pizzas. The fans were into the game, though not quite like Fenway Park. Susan thought the Rangers 3rd baseman was really cute, but wasn't very good. We got to see Paul Kanerko hit a towering homerun to left. We were at third base with our feet on top of the Rangers dugout roof and were surrounded by kids most of the game. Baseball is a great sport, even in Oklahoma City. Do you have any idea if there is a Red Sox Nation chapter in Oklahoma City?
