There's a cold front approaching from the NW; it's part of the system that caused severe weather in the lower midwest, and that's going to drench the northeast later today. There's a chance of thunderstorms this afternoon, including possible severe storms associated with a squall line. The wind will be out of the south to southeast, which is blowing out toward left. Expect winds in the 20 mph range, with gusts to nearly 30 mph ahead of the front.
