Cervasio to MSG

As expected, MSG announced the hiring of Tina Cervasio, late of NESN, as a host/reporter for MSG and MSG Plus.

She will co-host "MSG, NY" and be a sideline reporter for Red Bulls games, among other things.

Jessica Heslam, Herald - N.Y.-bound, Tina’s heart still with Sox

After covering the World Champion Boston Red Sox [team stats] for NESN since 2006, TV sports ace Tina Cervasio is heading back to Yankee territory.

Cervasio has inked a deal to anchor and report for the Madison Square Garden Network (MSG) in New York City, where she worked before coming to the Hub.

“Of course,” Cervasio said yesterday, “my heart is with the Red Sox.”

“I’ll still be covering the Red Sox quite a bit as well,” Cervasio said.

Cervasio will co-host their flagship, nightly sports and entertainment show “MSG, NY” and do reporting for MSG and MSG Plus (formerly FSN New York).

“As an anchor and as a reporter, I’m going to be doing a lot of feature reports on every team, the local college teams, the pro teams,” Cervasio said. “I’m looking forward to getting back into football and basketball coverage and hockey as well.”

I thought she was great the few times I actually saw her, maybe that's why I thought she was great, but still.
