Not much else to say... wasn't sure where to post it, but wanted those interested to know.

I'm pretty sure James has been on 60 Minutes, so that may not be new, even though TV Guide online shows that as a "new" show. 60 Minutes does that sometimes, throwing in footage from an old show, along with some new stuff. They did that with a Tom Brady piece last fall. Not sure, just sayin'.

Pretty sure this one is new, because I remember reading a blurb in the Globe about a month ago when it was being filmed---they mentioned that 60 Minutes had a crew in Fort Myers.

OK, let's check it out, in between MLB and NBA games on at the same time (at least on the west coast). Looks like it might be on third if this is accurate from zapit, although TV Guide online made it look like it'd be up second.

A man recounts his story of torture as a terror detainee in Afghanistan and Guantanamo Bay; Al Gore's campaign for awareness of global warming; Bill James uses statistics to analyze baseball and its players.

It may start late due to the NCAA Tourney.

Just saw it here in CA. That was a new piece, of course. I guess 60 minutes felt they had to use Costas to "validate" Bill James. Pretty crazy background James has and now he's a trusted adviser to the most successful team of the decade/century/millennium.
