I'm going to be heading up to Baltimore for a Sox game next week and wanted to know if anyone had any tips for going to ae game there. My biggest concern is going to be parking. I know there is a metro that has a stop at Camden Yards but which stop is the one to park at from the South and is it worth it? I'll probably be getting into Baltimore around 4PM for the 7PM game so traffic might be a little heavy which is why I'm thinking metro.
Any tips would be greatly appreciated as I've only been to the stadium once and I was like 13 at the time, so its been a while. I'll probably grab some food before the game too so any suggestions on a place nearby to eat and drink would be awesome.

Parking for Orioles games has always been pretty easy for us. The parking lots are right off the highway. The Ravens' stadium is adjacent, so there is no shortage of space, though you might need to walk for a bit. If you are getting in around 4:00 I would just go park in whatever lot they are funneling cars into at the moment and then walk down to the harbor for a couple hours. ~15 minute walk.
edit: Getting out can be very quick or very irritating if you miss your turn and get funneled downtown.

$2 Natty Bo cans behind the outfield - Pickles/Sliders. Most Sox fans congregate there before/after.
Right in front - stands with amazing sausage and peppers & crab cake sandwiches.

Parking's not a big deal. I went last year and there were lots and garages fairly close to the park where you could park for $10. I can't recall the street names where the lots and garages are but you shouldn't have any big problems.

Yeah parking is DEFINITELY not a big deal.
We own Camden man, I love it there. I'm staying 2 days overnight there - the bar hopping is alot of fun. Plus, **** 495 for all eternity after a game.

I drove there twice last season for sold-out Sox games (one courtesy of Mr. Slick, thankyouverymuch), and parking was a 0% problem. I walked maybe 10 minutes and paid, I think, ten bucks.
Camden is awesome. Just awesome. Sat in the upper left grandstand the first time, and then on the upper right grandstand the second time, and loved the seats, the AWESOME food selection in the (air-conditioned) interior vendor areas.
Good restroom, decent food prices, lots of roaming vendors, great views from seats, just a great park.
And you can walk all the way around to the outfield to the warehouse terrace where the really good food and other stuff is.

Minor correction... We were in the club box level. If you are in any other sections you aren't allowed in the air conditioned concourse.

I haven't been in a few years, but the best place to buy tickets is in the scalp-free zone right before the game. Folks are allowed to resell their tickets (below face value) there. As you can imagine in Baltimore, tix are usually plentiful.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I didn't realize that the Ravens stadium was nearby so I would assume they have plenty of parking for those games in the area. I'm so pumped to be able to watch the Sox live again as I get few chances living in Virginia. Can't wait until next year when I'm in DC though, I'll be going to a game every time they come to Baltimore.
Just saw that Beckett is the probable starter for the game on Tuesday which is awesome.

Went to the game yesterday and had a great time. Traffic wasn't that bad after the game, I parked about 3 blocks away although it was a little sketchy that late and the parking was ridiculously expensive because it was a public lot. The outcome of the game obviously sucked but I had a good time nonetheless. We went to Sliders before the game which seemed like the least crowded out of that row of bars there. They really need some more tables outside though because its a pretty big open area and there was little seating.
They were giving away free Markakis shirts so we all got one. This is probably why you noticed a ton of orange in the crowd, since half of their fans weren't even wearing the O's colors before the free shirt. We gave away one to a beer vendor inside the stadium who was an O's fan and then ended up selling the other 3 to O's fans once they ran out at the gate. So we got some free beer from something we didn't want anyways.

This place is just awesome. I make it a point to be there each time I visit Baltimore. Just a great atmosphere and really good food.
