Game time: 7:05 pm

Scheduled starters: Matt Garza (4-1, 3.78) v. Justin Masterson (1-0, 1.46)

The game will be on NESN.

Boston weather: 4 pm observation at KBOS: Wind out of the southwest at 12 mph with gusts to 18 mph, visibility 10 miles, few clouds at 5,000 feet, scattered clouds at 9,000, 18,000, and 25,000 feet, temperature 86F, DP 47F

Forecast: High pressure is in control for one more day. It will be a warm evening, with gusty winds out of the southwest, which is blowing out toward left, at least until the sun goes down. The dew point is low, and it should be a comfortable night. There's a cold front moving in from the northwest, and it could set off some thunderstorms and showers, but not until after the game is over. Tomorrow is another story, however...

Yay Red Sox!

Edit: I like baseball.

This is one of those games where you can hear the cheers across the river. Go Sox.

Due to the lack of a better game to watch, I've been watching the debut of Joba the Hut tonight. Less than spectacular. biggrin.gif
Anyway, the MFY were still in the game (3-2 Jays) when they decided to bring that hideous creature Ramirez in. Walks, hits, waks, hits. 6-2 Jays.
And btw, have you seen an uglier looking pitcher in the majors than Ramirez? Gotta love it. warren.gif biggrin.gif thumbsup.gif

LMAO!!!! And edit: 8-2 Jays. whistle.gif

This is how the Globe reported Crisp's double -

QUOTE
Crisp, who wasn't even in the original lineup until Manny Ramírez mentioned his hamstring was still sore, lined a two-run, opposite-field double that gave the Sox a 6-4 lead.

Anyone who watched the game knows it was weak fly ball that ended up in the right spot.
