Game time: 7:10 pm

Scheduled Starters: Justin Masterson (3-0, 2.59) v. Aaron Harang (2-9, 4.31)

The game will be on NESN.

Cincinnati weather: 4 pm observation at KLUK: Wind out of the west at 24 mph with gusts to 41 mph, visibility 0.25 mile in heavy rain and a thunderstorm, scattered clouds at 900 feet, broken layer at 3,000 feet, overcast at 6,000 feet, temperature 73F, DP 68F

Forecast: There are thunderstorms forming ahead of a cold front that's off to the west, and there's a possibility for severe thunderstorms throughout the evening. It won't be raining all the time, so there's a chance they may try to get this game in. Right now, most of western and central Ohio is under a severe thunderstorm watch.

The winds will be from the southwest at less than 15 mph, except in thunderstorms. That's blowing out toward left.

Updates to follow.

Questions:

1-Can Masterson hit for a lick?
2-With no DH, does Manny play with his hammy?
3-Will this game get played given Anni's forecast?

Will the fortune tellers on the board please respond now.

edit:
One more question, I'm trying to get an up to date weather forecast for the Cinci area.
So does anyone have a link to allow me to listen to WKRP radio online? Google didn't lead me to one.

1- How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop?
2 - It's easy to play drums on your quads. What would he play with his hammy?
3 - That really depends on whether or not her forecast proves to be accurate.

At 6 pm, it was clear with 9 miles and light winds out of the west, and 74/69 for temperature and dew point. The line that went through earlier is east of Cincinnati, but there's another line to the west. They've got thunderstorms at Indianapolis and Evansville. I expect that they will start on time, but I would not be surprised if there was a rain delay by around 8-8:30.

We need to score early and get the game moving!

Renton
Burton was pretty impressive, even if he wasn't facing much in the way of hitters.
Renton
Pedroia hit a really good pitch for a single, Drew is due.

Guess not. That was a terrible at bat.
Kylyk
What a different team without Manny and Ortiz.

We don't even get the moral victory of advancing Pedroia to 2nd base.

Time for some immoral drinking, I guess.
