This is a great piece on ESPN.com. Doesn't matter what you think about these two guys, this piece was a lot of fun to read. I LOVE Pete's approach to playing the game. Every time they rehash the 75 World Series I love it when he's talking to Fisk during Game 6, (paraphrasing) "Wow, what a game. Isn't this fun? Man, this is so much fun." Too many people forget that baseball is supposed to be fun.

Yeah, it's a good little piece, but I'm a Rose fan, always will be, for the same reason TLB points out.

Rose was very astute when he told A-Rod that Boston fans would love him for leaving the Yankees and signing with the Sox last winter. Can you imagine this Red Sox team with A-Rod hitting third, Ortiz fourth, and Manny fifth? Or maybe Ortiz third, Manny fourth and A-Rod fifth. They'd be 20 games ahead by Labor Day.
