Can anyone raise stats on Wakefield's starts against NL teams? He seems to have a good record at that. If so, it can mean that just the fact that we have him make other clubs in the AL to change their strategy all year, preparing hitters to hit knuckleballs. I hope he stays for later and later in this team.
No offense, but this isn't one of your better takes on English. I've never really noticed a language gap before, but this is like "newbie who lasts for 7 posts before being run off the board by Caspir" territory.
That said: Taking the lazy way out and not narrowing things down to Wakefield vs. the NL as Red Sox pitcher...his overall interleague ERA is 4.77, which is actually a fair bit worse than his career mark of 4.33. I don't know how much of that is with the Pirates and how much with the Sox, of course.
Perhaps our resident database wiz (thanman...2) can be a bit more precise.

Great job by Wakes....again. He's been having a very solid year for us, and it's turned out to be essential. We're now exactly halfway through the season with a record of 49-32. That's with assorted minot injuries and one big one to Ortiz. I'll take that same record in the second half.
We need to go 2-2 over the final four games of June to match the April and May win totals of 17. 17 wins a month translates to 102 total. Of course, 17 in July is a bit tougher with the All Star Break. It's not a bad pace to be on, anyway. Let's get there, and worry about July in July.
