Lowrie starts at shortstop!

Welcome back!
SoxAroundTheWorld
Nice to see you back, Jed. Did Lugo get put on the DL. If so, what a shame...

Fake edit: Casey as slow as molasses... sad.gif

Fake edit II: I don't like the red shirts.

Fake edit III: Nice comeback by Timmah. The butterfly is floating tonight.

Fake edit IV: Somebody stop me from making the fake edits! It's 1:45 a.m. here, and I've had a lot of margaritas and beers. I can't do a monolog...

Fake edit V: Nice job, Michael. I like this Lowell guy. I seem to recall that we gave up one or two prospects for him. Did we get anyone back along with him? dunno.gif

Fake edit VI: Youk! Sweet!!! Congratulations on your first salami!!!!!
samba guy
I was trying to see how many fake edits you could do
SoxAroundTheWorld
Was just about to add number VII - Drew strikes out. DFA him!

Thanks for saving me, samba guy. How's the winter going?

Fake Edit I: Here we go again. Timmah looking so good the O's batters are pissed at him... but in a good way.

Fake Edit II: Why didn't Lowell go to 3rd on Youks Sec Fly? DFA him!
acr
That catch by Markakis is going to get him a lot of love from the old guys who like heart and grit and hustle, but it was actually a stupid decision...he easily could've suffered a wrist or arm injury all to keep it a 9 run game.

Well, yeah, but... You can get injured at any time, doing any thing. Of course he should try to make the play if he can. The alternative would be to sit back and let it fall in. I sure hope no coach is telling his players to do that.

Full disclosure: I'm an "old guy."

Fake edit I: I want to know who took the picture of Don and Jerry with Costner.

Fake edit II: The Sox defense up the middle is Pedroia, Lowrie and Ellsbury. The future is now!!!

Fake edit III: Manny strikes out against Cabrera. DFA him!!!

Fake edit IV: Lowell strikes out against Cabrera. What? They haven't already DFA'ed him???

Fake edit V: Manny and Lowell both out of the game. Theo must be reading this thread!

Fake edit VI: Nice clip of Remy getting tossed. Was hoping Millar would do the same.

Fake edit VII: Props to Timmah for another outstanding start from our stealth ace. And did I really see a clean inning from Craig "I believe in base runners" Hansen. Goodness!

Fake edit VIII: Pedroia strikes out. Still, don't DFA him!

Fake edit IX: Coco couldn't score from first on the Moss double? DFA him! That Alex Cora, on the other hand, what a ballplayer!

Fake edit X: Mighty Casey has struck out. DFA him!

Fake edit XI: Timlin allows a base runner, ending the streak at 18 straight batters: DFA him!

Fake edit XII: Dirty water! And it's only 3:38 a.m. I'm in great shape...
