Typical Dice-K start, but at least not a run scored. 20 pitches.

Looks like another typical Dice-K start: tons of pitches, an awful lot of those balls, trouble constantly. I really wonder sometimes what made him so good in Japan.
Of course, getting out of self-made jams without letting runs score might be part of it...

He's got great stuff. When he throws it over, he gets outs, he just seems to be afraid to. I think he needs a mind altering experience. Electroshock is too violent. What else?

Shift had Cora on the wrong side of 2nd. Don't know what Manny's excuse was...
The 4th was typical of Dice-K's problem: 1-2-3 easy inning, but he needed 21 pitches to do it. Ridiculous.

It's a good thing Ellsbuy can play CF and LF at the same time. How many times is Don going to repeat when Markakis was drafted this game alone?

Hansen for one, Oki for one and Paps to finish? I was thinking, with the break, all Matsuzaka has to do is take the family for a swan boat or a duckboat ride, so let him start the seventh. But, I don't think so at 115 pitches.

In addition to being SLOW, he is sometimes "not too swift"!

2 - 0 game, Sox hoping to get back into first place, nail biter, and all the TBS announcers talked about all half inning was whether some team ought to sign Barry Bonds. They even mentioned Clemens once.

Dirty water indeed. Love it.
