I wonder which knee it is. Or, maybe everytime you ask him, he points to a different one. Did his knee all of a sudden feel bad after Tito sent the lineup out for Globe, etc. publication? I'm personally getting tired of him. And, get a *@*^*%& haircut!

Gosh, I hope the Fisk finger offset your bad mojo.

Closet Yankee fan, yeah, right, for over half a century. His hair almost looks long enough to get his bat tangled up in it, or to fly across his face when he's running for a flyball. Enough is enough. In the Angels series, he made Vlad look like an Exeter Academy student. Well, exaggeration, but what's the point of an "athlete" having hair down to the middle of his back?

I don't care one bit if he cuts it, but Malzone's point about it flying in his face while chasing a fly ball is valid. I'd be happy if he just tied it back.

Maybe Manny will pull a Paul Pierce and limp in there in the seventh and get the game winning hit. Maybe not. I wonder if he's feeling it's not going well re the Sox picking him up for next year and he's starting his pouting.

I'm dead serious when I ask, can the Yankees be stopped? Their BP has been damn good and their SP isn't all that shabby. Some timly hitting and their always going to be in postion to win. I know it's only the first game and this one is only 1-0 MFY for the moment, but the Yankees look really solid. Maybe if Beckett pitched this year like he was traded for Hanley...
I love Melky.
Edit: Not trying to place blame on Beckett. DiceK only going 5IP a start doesn't help, nor does Buchholz having an ERA of 6. This BP outside of Papelbon has sucked and the 7-8-9-1 hitters have been garbage.

The Yankees just traded for Damaso Marte and Xavier Nady.
EDIT: Apparently they gave up Jose Tabata, Ross Ohlendorf, Phil Coke, and another minor leaguer.

I assume he meant he'd go from getting 5 PAs in
some games to getting only 3 in
some games. Obviously, a 5-PA game doesn't become a 3-PA game because he's lower in the order.

Normally I would totally agree with Remy about the pitch to Youk being unintentional. But he is totally wrong here. Joba is cruising through our lineup, and he probably feels invincible right now. There is no doubt in my mind that pitch was intentional. I don't care if it is a 1-0 game.
