How'd he do that?

Damn hell Time Warner Cable. Why must you tease me with the option of home broadcast one day and snatch it away the next? My ears are already bleeding in anticipation of "eegone!"
Curll
Drew hasn't hit a HR in a while.LOWELL!!!
GreenMountainSoxFan
Wait, what? Is he still allowed to do that?

Great shot of the ball on the ground about a foot away from the wall, on the good side of the wall. Attaway Mikey.
Malzone64
Straight as a die fastball, and Dye didn't miss it.

They said it has been bothering him for a couple week IIRC. Nothing major, I dont believe.

Short turnaround with a day game following a night game...

Youks is a warrior (hate that term but...). Buchholz needs to calm down. Could be a football score today. I'll take 10 - 7 Boston.

2 run bomb by Quentin, game's all tied up.

What the hell happened to Clay?

And now Thome hits a 2 run HR.

Seriously, this kid's head is messed up, send him down.
rominer
Too bad Suckholz is on the mound. sad.gif

With Floyd settling down and Clay falling apart, looks like this could be a long day.

Get well soon, Bartolo Colon.

You mean no-hit Clay? That was last year. This is the one we've been getting this year. Another bloop, another blast. 5 - 3.

No not no-hit Clay. This kid was supposed to be the second coming of Clemens and he's just sucked ass.
retire25
Can't believe this kid sucks balls as badly as he does. I thought he'd be our No. 2 srarter by the end of the season. He's regressing badly. Confidence appears to be gone.
Renton
Regressing from what? Who said a prospect had to go out and be a #2 starter in his first MLB season? Plenty of pitchers need time to adjust... Glavine, Maddux, Peavy... all sucked their first years in baseball. It happens.
Lesbian BoyFriend
Jason just got a really Gay single to bring in another Gay run. 6-4 White Sox.

Sure glad Bay was not hitting there. Much better to have Lowell's 456th GIDP this season.
MoVaughn.Org
Masterson has been amazing since coverting to a reliever

The 3-run HR was nice...I would have traded a first inning groundout for a HR there instead, though.

Then (for those oblivious to the obvious) we'd be tied right now.

Stop confusing me with facts.

I do not understand why Lowell is hitting so high in the order based on the last couple of months of at-bats (HR notwithstanding). I guess it could be to break up the vortex of suck at the bottom of the order.
SFFM38
****, I am getting sick of all those 1 run losses piling up all season along.. and ****ing Devil Rays are winning, ( yes I know they are called Rays now ) but whatever banghead.gif

What are you, RSF2?

The guy has been our catcher for 12 years now. You'd think you might be able to spell his name. Its V-a-r-i-t-e-k, not V-o-r-t-e-x.

That game was a terrible way to follow a sleepless night. Dammit.
