RedSoxAnni
Game time: 7:05 pm

Scheduled starters: Luis Mendoza (3-5, 7.50) v. Jon Lester (10-4, 3.23)

The game will be on NESN and on ESPN

Boston weather: 4 pm observation at KBOS: Wind out of the east at 9 mph, visibility 10 miles, few clouds at 5,000 feet, broken layer at 25,000 feet, temperature 77F, DP 60F

Forecast: Cool and dry. There's some high cloudiness moving in ahead of a trough that's out in the Great Lakes area now, and that's bringing some rain and thunder to northern NY, but we shouldn't see any rain tonight. The wind will be east at the start of the game, going to south after sunset. East is blowing in and south is blowing from right to left.

If you want to attract people, first you gotta give us ten runs, then give them back, then fall behind, and then get on top again.

Call me "Old School" but an old fashioned lopsided win is very attractive! thumbsup.gif

The Rangers may yet have a couple - or a couple dozen - runs in them. But damn, Jon Lester just continues to be more and more in control of the game when he takes the mound.

Lester could very well be the key guy come playoff time...

Beckett
Dice-K
Lester

looks like a formidable playoff rotation.

If Lugo gets his spot back when healthy over Lowrie, Tito needs his head examined.

It's still Tuesday?

Yeah!!! No way Tek could've struck out without that play!!!!

Crisp might be the biggest disappointment ever. Hard to believe he could ever hit, but there is evidence that points in that direction.
spudrph
What's the defensive plan for the 8th?

Cora SS
Youk 1B
Lowrie 3B?

Uh....never mind. Answered my own question.

I love the high socks that Timlin wears.

I just wish there was a better pitcher in the socks.

I wasn't going to watch this game, tuned in just in time for the Boston 7th. I was thinking of watching the movie Texas Chainsaw massacre. Hope this ends better than that did.

Geez, I was screaming.. 3 more outs to go! I can't believe Texas is more lethal then NYY.
