Someone ought to check in Brian McNamee's couch for an HGH reciept with Varitek's name on it. What's with that guy all of a sudden?
Jack Hayden
Ball and chain removal?

Did you cut and paste that from a previous Dice-K game thread?
CTLovesTheSox
I had my choice of threads to cut and paste from. I like variety.

Jason Varitek should have filed for divorce months ago.

I seldom actually see games - I follow online. But I'm reading Ortiz singles to left - he goes for 2 hits to left last night. Is our guy finally beating the shift by starting to go the other way more?
SFFM38
Wow, This HP Umpire sucks. that wasn't a Strike against Jason Bay.
67YazWithSideburns
15-2 is a disgustingly nice record............. how the hell did that happen.

Dear Tampa,

You can lose when we win. It's ok to do that. Really.

OFF TOPIC. Every time I see Maddon on TV I want to tap out his glasses with a ballpeen hammer. I suppose it's because of the brawl, maybe the fact we're in second place behind them for far too long, but I never felt any ill will toward Torre, or Scioscia, or any other rival manager I can think of right now. The psychology of why you hate a team or a person on it...hard to figure.
