Just win. Preferably without injuries. To our side, that is.

Since Hellickson is pitching today I guess the liner he took in the head during BP a few days ago wasn't very serious.

I am going to sign Clay Buchholz up for an online dating service, so that maybe he can get introduced to the strike zone.

Dammit...protecting the plate on ball 4 and ball 5, then an out. That was the chance to bust the game open. To quote at least a half dozen different Rays and Sox players in the past two days, f**k!

Luke Scott is entitled to his opinions, of course.

But, as I am also entitled to my opinions, I will express the following opinion: His beard makes him look like he is mentally retarded.

That may have less to do with the beard, and more to do with actually being mentally retarded. But the beard doesn't help. He looks like a moron.

He's also a birther.

I must say that as of this point I like the Red Sox that play at Fenway Park more than I like the Red Sox that play in other stadiums.

Edit: GoNM, the guy who threw out the first pitch today was also celebrating his 100th birthday today.

I think the mentally retarded would be insulted to have Luke Scott grouped in with them.

There is a reason why trailer parks are periodically wiped out by natural disasters. It's the only way to keep the human race from being completely overrun by people of Luke Scott's level of intelligence.

He's lucky he got out of the trailer park when he did.

It would still be better if he were to never reproduce.

---

John Lackey apologizes for my use of the word "retarded."

Uh... Dirty Water.

I'll have the Board know that from the moment I started following the game (after having finished umpiring a little league affair in which the A's crushed the D-Backs), the Sox outscored the Rays 8-0. You're welcome.

Yep. That's it.

I am no longer stalking FishCake.

There are many other trees (not to mention bushes) to be explored.
