I mean, people named Liam cannot possibly beat the Boston Red Sox. Seeing that he's from Australia, does this game "count" or is it an exhibition?

It's not easy to throw 32 pitches in an inning where only one batter reaches base, but Hendricks did it in the first inning.

I am declaring Mike Aviles as my favorite player, which means he's going to miss a pop up next inning.

I'm sure he'll hit you a foul ball in Philly.

Yeah, I'm sure he'll still be hitting this well in 3 weeks.

Better. This is how Mike Aviles hits when he's in a slump.

Wow. Washington actually can be called for holding the stick.

This series would be over already if that rule had existed from the start.

Bruins have been scary bad since the last 5 seconds of the power play. Time to get it going.

EDIT: This is apparently the Red Sox game thread. But I thought BigSlick would want some Bruins updates.

Thanks.

Ignore the fact that Buchholz has only given up 1 run. He's pitching like shit.

He looked like he had no command during the bit that I was able to watch. But it doesn't have to be pretty.

I hope this puts an end to MLW's persistent whining about the Sox trading Scutaro.

F**k you, Justin Thomas.

Unless Parmelee is the asshole who hired Irv Lamel, in which case he deserved it.

It is shocking to see Matt Albers give up a hit.

Have another donut fatass.
