Also, who the hell is Tommy Milone?
He's a guy who is either lucky or good according to this article...

Also, I'm watching tonight, so the Sox will win.

Wow. He really is either lucky or good. The conclusion of that article really makes me wonder:
Quote
He's 3-1 with a 2.00 ERA and .852 WHIP.
Two of these games have featured eight shutout innings of pitching by Milone—one against the Kansas City Royals and the other against the Chicago White Sox.
Neither team is awful.
He picked up a win against the daunting Los Angeles Angels as well.
More indication that he's not just "getting lucky" against terrible teams.

I can't tell if pitching well against the White Sox, Royals, and Angels is intended to be evidence that he's lucky (like, lucky enough to have faced the three worst offenses in the AL, excluding Oakland's bottom-ranked offense) or that he's good. "Daunting Los Angeles Angels" has to be sarcasm, if only because no serious person calls that team the Los Angeles Angels. But the rest of that wonderfully insightful analysis seems to be about perfecting the art of the one-sentence paragraph, not about razor-sharp wit.

I didn't actually read the article. I googled him and that was the first thing that came up.
You should read it. It only takes about 15 seconds.
That was not well executed by the Sox. Free run for Oakland. Now let's hope that Milone isn't lucky or good today. Whichever.

If a 10 year old in a little league game did what Weeks just did, his coach would bench him.
That said, if the 10 year old's first baseman couldn't find a way to at least keep that throw from rolling to the dugout, he'd probably find a seat on the pine, too.
