Game time: 7:10 pm

Scheduled starters: Cole DeVries (2-2, 3.68) v. Clay Buchholz (9-3, 4.75)

The game will be on NESN and WEEI

Boston weather: 5 pm observation at KBOS: Wind out of the northeast at 10 mph, visibility 9 miles, few clouds at 5,000 feet, scattered clouds at 25,000 feet, temperature 76F, DP 69F

Forecast: With the sea breeze it is cooler at Boston Logan than it is inland. It is in the upper 80s and low 90s 10 miles west. It will be warm and muggy at the game, with a light wind blowing in from left at the beginning of the game, and blowing out toward right center after sunset. I would be remiss if I did not say that there is a chance of thunderstorms tonight. There are some strong storms off to the northwest and it is possible that there will be some rain in Boston around game time. The storms are "training" over northwest MA as well as in SE VT and SW NH, where they've had about 3-4 inches of rain this afternoon. These storms are likely to weaken as they move southeast.

Pedro Ciriaco is the only bright spot in this dismal season.
