Game Time: 1:05 pm

Scheduled Starters: Tim Wakefield (15-10, 4.29) v. Randy Johnson (13-8, 4.05)

The Game will be on NESN.

New York Weather: 11 am observation at LGA: Few clouds at 4,000 feet, 25,000 scattered, visibility 10 miles, temperature 69F, DP 54F, wind out of the northeast at 13 mph.

Forecast: It should get into the upper 70's low 80's by game time. The wind is northeast now, but as the high pressure dominating the area moves further south, the wind will come around from the south/southwest.

Northeast wind blows in from left, southwest wind blows out toward left.

Bring sunscreen if you're in the upper deck.

David Ortiz, tweaked his back Friday night. And even though he played yesterday, he will not play today.
''I've got a little bit of a tight back,'' Ortiz said yesterday on his way out of the Stadium. ''They're going to shut me down for a day.'' Sep. 11 - 9:19 am et

Johnny Damon is likely to be the DH today against Randy Johnson.
The usual DH, David Ortiz, tweaked his back Friday night and he will take a seat today. Damon who was rested yesterday after having a cortisone shot may not be ready to throw the ball without pain yet.

Looks like we wont have the A lineup out there today. Ortiz' back must be serious if they are sitting him out of a game against the yankees, either that or Tito knows we will win the division. Still hope we can today.

Does that mean he wouldn't even be available to PH?

Sigh, I really don't like it when Tito inserts a replacement player into an important slot...

Youks should not be batting 3rd.

Does anyone know if there's going to be a 9/11 tribute today? I know there will be one for the Giants Cardinals game at 4pm.

Manny?

And move everyone else up a spot, maybe sticking Youks in 6 or 7.

maybe hes preparing to use Olerud as PH late in the game, if RJ is out early, then the 3rd spot would be good for him

NOMAH!!!

Oh, wait. Nevermind.

Youks will do fine today. I have faith. Maybe not the same as him, but faith nontheless. I just think Terry wants people on base in front of Manny. And the Yankees will go after Youks as to avoid Manny. Youks sees good pitches to hit, he should hit them.
