Sorry FiNY, I haven't been sleeping much lately. Normally I would have gotten to that one much faster. ;)

What about you? Are you coming? You can't miss one ... I think you've been to them all.

12 tix left for July 29th. 20 left for Sept. 2. I'm going to open them up to regular folk tomorrow morning.

There - I think PayPal worked this time, MALC.

Looking forward to meeting many of you in July!

CJ, grab your ticket...if you can't make it, sell it to the highest bidder two weeks before the game. We'll miss you, but you'll certainly make money! :thumbsup

Put me down for two for the July 29 game.

I know. You're all saying, "Who is that guy?"

I'm primarily a lurker, I've been around for a while and it would be fun to meet some of y'all.

MALC, I'll Paypal you the money as soon as I get home tonight.

Joncahill14 has got some stones. I can't believe he's willing to go through the initiation ritual. I guess he must have seen "Brokeback Mountain" and liked it. ;)

Seriously though, a good time will be had by all. We welcome you. I eagerly anticipate the transfer of funds. I'm low on crystal meth.

Hey MALC, sent my payment finally. Again, its for [2] tickets for July 29 - nothing for SEP at this point.

Thanks.

There are 8 tickets left for the July outing. And some notable personages have not contacted the RedSoxNation.net offices to reserve their spots. It's really a shame, as there are some message board glitterati slated to attend. Here's the guest list so far for July 29th:

MALC
Edmund Dantes
Seabass
BillyJo
TimlinInThe8th
NJSoxFan
BostonSox37
DeweyRice
Pede
BeatlesFab4Fan
SoxSweepAgain (and 'Lil Sweeper of course)
Gerky
Empyreal
JayhawkBill (Comin' straight outta Virginia!)
CTLovesTheSox
NUFiveOh
Dewy4PrezII
OuttaThePahk
LoveOfSox
WalkingDisaster
TheLoveBelow
Cambridge
SoxFanInNYC
Mascho
JonCahill14
Mish1231

A further analysis brings up many questions. Firstly, where are the ladies? C'mon ladies. Shake your Paypal booties! Secondly, if I seat TLB next to TimlinInThe8th and SoxSweepAgain, will there be any beer left in the concession stand under the bleachers by the 5th inning? Thirdly, we have JayhawkBill and LoveOfSox committed to coming in from the hinterlands for this game. If we had a marching band like the original Royal Rooters, we'd send it out in welcome! Also, it's good to see Pede get in on the game this time. He has been a most notable absence. I still think that Mclusky is Pede's hand puppet that plays the role of his dark alter ego. I guess we'll find out in July, eh?

Well, I told the girlfriend about this after I sent in my payment yesterday, although she still isnt sure what's going on. This is how I told her, via a call to her at work;

"Hi hun, I know you're busy at work, but I just spent 66 dollars so we can meet people I know from the internet. Bye."

I figure around July 27th I'll tell her its a Red Sox game.

Agreed. I'm actually going, so I fully expect more women to come, just based on my presence. I'll be liquored up and easy to take advantage of!

Seriously, I'm going going to start calling out people like...BSG...and PTH...and Booma...and FF. C'mon, if I'm going, you all have no excuse! I went to one outing and was scarred for life, but I'm going again...and you should too, dammit. If not for me, for the sake of the rest of the lonely male slobs on this board.

Short answer: no.

Slightly longer answer: The Guinness and Harp stand is too far away from the bleachers. Plus, if FourthBase ends up going he might get us all booted for "getting up too much" and "having way too good of a time."

Also, if anyone is having trouble affording beers at the park they I'll gladly set up a booth to refinance your home for the cost of half a dozen Coors Lights. We'll file it under Cash Out/Drunk Consolidation.

Guys, it's not that I haven't considered buying a ticket, it's just a bad time of the year for me. I'll see if I can make it to one of the outings. And if I go, I expect free beer.

Unfortunately, the MLW ironman streak will have to come to an end this summer. I can't justify going to Boston and getting hammered when I have little MLW at home. Translation: my wife won't let me.

PS - Little MLW is not a euphemism.

Just inform her that you have another one of those 'Fish' meetings in Boston and you HAVE TO attend.

First Joey, now you?

Did someone send out the memo that I'm desperate for female attention and I have deep pockets?

If so, every word of it is true. Just don't worry about that pill down at the bottom of your beer. That's a vitamin, I swear.

And why wouldn't you bring "Little MLW"? If the wife wants to be a party pooper, that's fine. That doesn't mean the two of you need to turn into spineless yes-bots. If your wife told you to jump off a bridge, would you do it?

His answer is the same as yours if you were in the same situation, a resounding "Yes Ma'am." :tongue

Well I can't make it...both bad weekends for me. 7.29.06 is my brothers wedding, and I can't miss that. I figure that one year I'll eventually make it to a game with you all!

Phhhbt.

Bring the wife. Just prep her. Worked for me, and she even taught Seabass the proper way to imbibe a Zipperhead shot. Fell right into it.

Now, "little SSA" is "L'il Sweeper."
