Scheduled starters: Scott Kazmir (5-4, 4.26) v. Daisuke Matsuzaka (9-5, 3.80)
The game will be on NESN.
Boston weather:
1 pm observation at KBOS: Wind out of the east at 14 mph, visibility 10 miles, broken clouds at 7,500 feet, temperature 70F, DP 49F.
Forecast:
Another cooler than usual night tonight. The high that's been dominating our weather for the past several days is slowly moving east, and the wind, which is easterly at BOS right now will gradually come around from the southwest and allow some moisture to move into the region, but not until after the game is over. There are a couple fronts off to the west, and they'll likely bring some rain into the area, but that's for another day...
It'll be in the low 70s at game time, with the wind likely still out of the east, which is blowing in. The wind will come around from the southwest/west later in the evening.

I don't expect it to be any different that it was before Ellsbury showed up.
I mean if fans were dumb enough to boo Crisp because Ellsbury made some flashy plays in 3 games, it'll be the stupidest thing since that BK Kim guy got booed off the field after putting up the 2nd best ERA on the team in '03. ;)

I happen to agree. That being said, fans are funny sometimes.

As for Coco starting. Good. The sooner the better ( assuming his sprain is fine now ). The Magadan adjustments were starting to work. He's only missed what? 3 games? I'm confident he didn't lose a step at the plate.
Win damnit.

"Why can't we get guys like that?" while showing footage of Carlos Pena adding to his very solid season totals.
Things I do want to hear Bob Lobel say tonight:
"Wily Mo Pena's 5th home run of the season."
Things I will actually hear Bob Lobel say tonight:
""
Oh well. 70 degrees in Boston tonight, huh? Must be nice.

Even a blind dog finds a bone every once in a while.
Lugo's first hit in a long time up the middle in a clutch situation to score 2. 3-0 Good guys

EDIT: Was that just Papi being Manny? Seems like he would have been on first if he hustled out of the box. I guess he was surprised it didn't go foul?
