Game time: Now, this gets tricky. The Sox and Angels websites have the game starting at 7:37 pm EDT. The MLB website says it will start at 7:17 pm EDT. And...the TBS website has the game starting at 7:00 pm, which I believe is correct because all the games moved up after theCubbies got swept.

Scheduled starters: Joe Saunders (17-7, 3.41) v. Josh Beckett (12-10, 4.03)

Boston weather: 3 pm observation at KBOS: Wind out of the south at 5 mph, visibility 10 miles, overcast at 2,300 feet, temperature 56F, DP 43F.

Forecast: Chilly. There's a weak low moving from east to west just to our south, and that's causing the low clouds and cool temperature. There's been some light rain at Boston earlier, but most of the rain is staying to the south. There have been some breaks in the overcast to the north and west, and that's allowed a bit of heating - both Manchester and Springfield reported 61F at 3 pm, with scattered to broken clouds. But that's not going to happen in Boston... It'll be in the low 50s to upper 40's at game time, with the wind out of the north. There's only a slight chance of rain, and it would be very light rain.

The wind will be blowing from third toward the Pesky Pole.

The start of the Rays/White Sox game was delayed almost an hour for rain, but the Sox/Angels game is still scheduled for 7 pm according to TBS and Yahoo.
