Manny's still uses CompuServe for dial-up.

Strange trip to the DL- gives a new meaning to the concept of "hurler"

It certainly could have been food poisoning, but had it been binge drinking they'd use food poisoning as an excuse as well.

It was nice to watch the Great Mariano blow a save this afternoon... the game was on MLBN.

I don't get it. It's a bunch of marlins right? Well, what's fun about that? What's so fun about a bunch of marlins? That's not any fun. Why can't it be a building that turns into a bug?

I can't find a video on youtube, but if you haven't seen it, Rick Ankiel made one hell of a throw from center field to hold the runner at third.

It's still a little crazy to me that he can hit the catcher on the fly and over the plate from center field, but can't hit the target from 60 feet away...

One hell of a throw is an understatement.

Old friend Josh Reddick also showing off the cannon:

Interesting. Josh Reddick shows off his cannon, and you post a video. GoNM has been trying to show you his cannon for years, and you won't even let him out of the tree.

I thought Cody Ross had a nice throw the other day from deep right-center to first. There was no play, but he got it there quick and accurately.

That added nothing to the discussion. I saw Roberto Kelly throw the ball into the stands in warmups one year. <--see what I did there?

GoNM? Cannon? More of a pea shooter based on what He's mom told me.

Jesus Montero has a .643 OPS so far this year.

But it could be worse.
