i want to thank all you haters for not putting the kabosh on Ubaldo Jimenez's no-no (and first in Rockies history)...i am fairly certain it was due to the dearth of weekend posters but i'll take it.

It kind of sneaked up on me and I was working, trying to put together a sports section. Sox, Mets, Celtics were all going on at the same time.

How good is Jimenez? I know he's filthy. Seems like a guy nobody wants to face.

just like you saw yesterday....throws very hard with movement...hit 98 on his 127th pitch and 97 on his 128th and last....can struggle with control which made him "effectively wild" yesterday....the Braves were bailing out.

Wondering, if Leake is throwing a no-no through 5 vs. Cubs....is that to early to post an 'alert'?

His grandmother can. She was at the game for Mother's Day because his mom died when he was still in high school. After the game she said to the press "Stick it ARod!"

Philly at Marlins - after seven innings Halladay has faced only 21 batters and they all went straight back to the dugout. He's thrown 92 pitches through seven so there's a chance that he could do it.

The score is 1-0, and MLB network has already gone to the game even though the Phillies are batting.

I know everyone is watching the Celtics, but BOTH pitchers in the Cubs/White Sox game have no hitters through 6.
