EI Is always free the week after the All-Star game. They also lower the price for the remainder of the season, so if you're not in New England you can watch the Sox. If you are in New England you can keep an eye on the Yanks and Rays this week if you are so inclined.

But if you are in Texas, you have to watch the crappy Rangers team because EI is blocked for the games. Stupid Texas.

Yeah, but the thread was basically over. After I made the original post there was really nothing for anyone to say. Even though I don't think MPS2's post was correct.

Whatever happened to "kiss my ass" as a parting shot? Back in the 1950s, that was as good as it got. And away we go. (Jackie Gleason.)

For Christ's sake, this had to happen two days after I cancelled my comcast tv service.

Oh well, hopefully someone streams them somewhere if they're freely available.

This is the Bestest thread of 2010!

Really, thanks for the reminder....though I'm now watching one of my fantasy pitchers get shelled (thanks to you), the next 6 days will surely make for some good TV watching.

You do realize Slick that this post doesn't matter for those Sox fans outside New England that already have Extra Innings...right?

Yes, in fact I am included in that group. I'm just a swell guy who wanted to let others know.

Get Direct TV, after it's installed call them and give them some bullsh*t line about how the service address is at some address in Boston but the bills are paid from your Texas address. Then you get NESN without that stupid not in your market crap.

But just know that will also give you all Boston local channels as well. That could be good or bad, depending on how you look at it.

I just get my local channels over an Antenna and local Boston over the direct tv(they all broadcast in HD nowadays anyway). Best part is you get to see Extra Innings after the game instead of Good Night! from the MLB package which always pissed me off and I save a few bucks. I don't care about all the other games.

Yeah I'm really glad the EI package was free on some week.

Even happier my e-billing showed I was paying for EI the last 5 months when I thought I had cancelled.

FIOS is on my mind regardless of EI or NFL ticket. **** em'. I push NFL @ my bar and EI - I can suffer without or get MLB TV.
