According to Nick Cafardo on Boston.com, the Sox will not activate Mike Lowell for tonight's game. The Sox are trying to trade him before tomorrow's deadline.

Comment: It would be nice if Mike could make an appearance at Fenway and not just "disappear". He's been a fan favorite and a class act and he deserves a proper send-off.
