The Sox will open on the road April 1 against Texas. The home opener is April 8 ... against the Yanks.

The 2011 season also will mark the first visit by the Cubs to Fenway Park in almost 100 years.

I will be at all three games here in Texas. I refuse to go to games here in the middle of the summer. Sitting in the sun when it's 110 is not as fun as it sounds.

On a personal note, this couldn't have turned out worse for me.
I'm planning on getting married that weekend so not only will I not be able to attend any of the Cubs games but Carl Beane wouldn't be able to be there in person to announce the wedding party.....bbbooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not sure if we're even or it's slightly worse for one of us. The Red Sox will be playing the Yankees on 9/24 on my wedding day.

Sox going to Philly again, I should still be there in late June, so I'm there.

Well the Sox are in NY for that Sept. series so at least you could have Carl Beane attend your wedding...if you so desired to have him there.

Slightly off-topic, but I got married 2 days after Game 7 of the 2003 ALCS.

Also, I had no idea you were married. My condolences to your wife, or imaginary wife or whatever it is you think you did two days after the ALCS in 2003.

I've literally been married longer than I've been a member here. There was a point during the 2003 season where I decided to stop the charade that your mom and I had been playing. It was time to clean up and get respectable.

I was married before you AND still bang your mom. But I'm dirty.

When do tickets go on sale this year - does anyone know?

Hoping that we won't be stuck in the God Foresaken/needs to be re-coded VR room again.
